Manufacturing and Product Design

The Diploma will give young people the opportunity to learn about the whole manufacturing and product design process from the purchasing and processing of the raw materials all the way through to marketing and selling the final product.

This section provides examples of resources, which have been developed by employers. The Food and Drink Challenge offers learners the chance to design a food or drink product and then consider the different stages of development.

Furniture Futures provide information about the routes into the furnishing and interiors industry and the career options available.

More resources will be added to this section as the development of the Diploma progresses.
